Since the opening of Sage Hotel above Eastland in 2017 other major hotel groups have flocked to Ringwood as the gateway to the Yarra Valley. Sage has proved that Ringwood is a future growth area offering 120 4 star rooms. Now we have another three major hotels set to open.

InterContinental Hotel Group, the parent of Holiday Inn & Suites has committed to the 16 storey ‘Ringwood Residences’ developed 94 Feet located at 301 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood. This will contain 164 rooms, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre, swimming pool, conference and function facilities. Due for completion at the end of 2020 this $80 Million project will be Ringwood’s tallest building, if only for a short period.

UPDATE: Marriott hotel has been announced as the hotel provider for this multi tower development!

Plans have also been approved for a 19 storey multi tower development at the site of the old Ringwood Iceland site and will include a hotel. This will become the highest building to date in Ringwood taking the crown off Ringwood Residences. As yet there is no word on who will be named as managing the hotel, however expect it to be another major hotel group. More info on this development: https://bit.ly/2VvCTQ5
